The Soup Kitchen at Bishop Sullivan Center is a food kitchen in midtown Kansas City that serves an evening meal to anyone in the community. Volunteers are needed to serve food, clean tables, wash dishes, etc. Eight to ten people from St. Mark's go to the soup kitchen on the third Friday of each month and serve approximately 200 meals to guests each time. We believe in the dignity of every human being and we want to share not only a nourishing meal, but also an atmosphere of hospitality and mutual respect.
