Our preparation program combines family, peer and parish support with every other week classes for candidates and monthly parent sessions.  Since parents "are the primary teachers of the faith", a family handbook accompanies the program to enable family participation in the child's preparation for this sacrament.  It is the policy of St. Mark's that a child attends the Parish School of Religion (PSR) one yar prior to entering into sacarament preparation.
