The goal of the St. Mark's Youth Ministry is to help youth grow in their relationships with God and the Church. This is accomplished through a Total Youth Ministry approach which includes activities that build relationships through community, help youth explore their questions of faith, and give the opportunity to put their Christian values to work in service to others. Almost every week, including the summer, Middle School and High School youth have activities that make this goal real. The Middle School and High School are independent of each other in some activities (such as Faith Formation Nights) while some activities are held in common (such as most service projects).
Unconfirmed 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are invited to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation beginning in the fall each year, leading to reception of Confirmation in the spring. Click on the “Sacrament Preparation” tab for more information.
