The Eucharist celebrates our life together as a community, the presence of Christ in our midst, the Word that is proclaimed and explained, many dimensions of the paschal mystery of death and rebirth. We celebrate our unity with Christ in communion and service.
Our preparation program combines family, peer and parish support with every week classes for candidates and monthly parent sessions. Since parents "are the primary teachers of the faith", a family handbook accompanies the program to enable family participation in the child's preparation for this sacrament. It is the policy of St. Mark's that a child attends the Parish School of Religion (PSR) one yar prior to entering into sacarament preparation.
